Your money comes in without you chasing everyone by phone
The oldest overdue invoice shows up on your overview under “Money outstanding”, with a button for the next level. You decide once how reminders work — after that you just press the button or let Zirko send them.

Send reminder …
How it looks
Level by level, the way you chase
After the friendly reminder come up to five reminder levels, each with its own deadline, fee, interest rate and template text.
In detail — Level by level, the way you chase
The dialog shows the outstanding amount, reminder fee, late payment interest and the amount to be paid; you change recipient, subject and text before sending. If you want to start straight with the first reminder, switch the friendly reminder off.
What else it takes off your hands
Late payment interest: your rate or the statutory one
The interest rate comes from your reminder settings or from the statutory late payment rule of the country your business is in.
In detail — Late payment interest: your rate or the statutory one
If that country sets no statutory rate that Zirko can apply reliably — in some countries, for example, for private customers — or the base rate is missing, Zirko calculates no interest and tells you why. If you have phoned or sent a reminder on paper, you just record the level — nothing is sent then.
The automatic run reminds, but not blindly
Switch it on and Zirko checks the overdue invoices every morning and sends the next level due by email; the dry run shows beforehand what would happen.
In detail — The automatic run reminds, but not blindly
A part payment stops the automatic run and puts the case in front of you, and so does a reminder where it stayed unclear whether it arrived.
What Zirko cannot see
Zirko does not import payments from your bank account: whether something has been paid, you record on the document — a paid invoice without that note gets a reminder. And once the last level is reached, the next step leads out of Zirko, to court proceedings or a debt collection agency. No software takes that off your hands.
Tax, trades and guides — United States
This page exists in its own version for every country. Tax rates and trade names come from the same tables the app works with.
Tax on the invoice
There is no nationwide rate here: the tax is set by state, county and city. So Zirko doesn't suggest one — you create your own rates, and an invoice goes out without a tax line where none is due.
For the United States we are not aware of any general obligation to issue electronic invoices.
What the trades are called here
How businesses in this country name their own trade — where there is a page for it, the name leads there.

Frequently asked questions
How many reminder levels can I set up?
After the friendly reminder, up to five reminder levels, each with its own deadline, fee, interest rate and template text. The friendly reminder can be switched off; the chain then starts with the first reminder.
Does Zirko send reminders automatically?
Yes, if you switch it on. Zirko then checks the overdue invoices every morning and sends the next level due by email. A part payment stops the automatic run, and the case comes to you.
How is late payment interest calculated?
From your reminder settings, or from the statutory late payment rule of the country your business is in. If that country sets no statutory rate that Zirko can apply reliably — in some countries, for example, for private customers — or the base rate is missing, Zirko calculates no interest and tells you why.
Can I record a reminder I gave by phone or on paper?
Yes, with “Raise reminder level”. Only the level is recorded and nothing is sent — so no reminder goes out twice.
Does Zirko notice when the customer has paid?
Only if you record the payment on the document. Zirko does not import payments from your bank account; a paid invoice without that note keeps getting reminders.
