For ElevenLabs and others

You are up on the roof. Your phone service answers.

Connect your own AI phone service to Zirko, such as ElevenLabs. It recognises customers by their number, creates the inquiry with a callback request in Zirko and reports emergencies at once. In the evening everything is waiting in “Inquiries”.

Zirko itself takes no calls and uses no AI. You choose your phone service and pay for it with its provider.

According to ElevenLabs, it processes calls in the United States by default, and in the EU only on the Enterprise plan. As of 12/10/2026.

How it looks

The phone rings, and both your hands are on the pipe

You cannot pick up, yet someone answers: your phone service takes the call, recognises John Smith by his number and notes what he needs. Then the inquiry is in Zirko, with a callback request.

In detail — The phone rings, and both your hands are on the pipe

If it is an emergency, your phone service can put the call through to you, and Zirko sends an email with all the details at once.

What it takes off your hands — and what it never does

In Zirko your phone service may do exactly four things, nothing else: whoever calls is a stranger.

  • Recognise caller

    Hello, it’s John Smith.

If the caller’s number is stored with a customer in Zirko, the service learns that the caller is known, and their name for the greeting. Nothing else: no address, no documents, no amounts.

  • Create inquiry

My heating is dripping. Could you call me back tomorrow?

It notes who is calling, what they need, where and when they want to be called back, and creates the inquiry in Zirko. In the evening it is waiting under Customers, in “Inquiries”.

  • Report emergency

Water is pouring through the ceiling here!

You decide what counts as an emergency for you. Your phone service can then put the call through to you, and Zirko sends an email with all the details at once. There is no notification on your phone.

  • Know your rules

Are you open between Christmas and New Year?

Opening hours, company holidays, public holidays, callback times, services and area: it gets them from Zirko during the call. You can keep them up to date in Zirko or through your AI assistant — the emergency number and the emergency instructions only in Zirko.

  • Never

Read out data — except that a caller is known, and their name for the greeting; see addresses, documents, prices or assignments; change or delete anything in Zirko; switch the emergency number. And Zirko itself takes no calls.

How to connect it

You set this up once; most of the work is in your phone service — with ElevenLabs, for example, you also need a phone number. You can switch it off or revoke the key at any time, and either takes effect at once.

  1. An admin connects it

It is off by default. An Office – Admin turns on the “Connect a phone service” switch in the settings under “AI phone service” and creates a key — a kind of password your phone service uses to sign in to Zirko. Zirko shows it exactly once.

  2. You add Zirko

In your phone service you create four tools that check with Zirko during the call, and enter the key. Zirko shows you what goes into which field under “How to set up your phone service” — field by field, ready to copy.

  3. You keep your rules up to date

Opening hours, what an emergency is and where it goes, and the greeting with the notice that an AI is speaking: your phone service gets them from Zirko on every call.

The “AI phone service” setting: the phone service is connected, only the last characters of the key are shown, and below that “How to set up your phone service” with the fields for ElevenLabs to copy.

Step by step in your phone service

Any other phone service works too, as long as it can check with Zirko during the call using a fixed key and fills in the caller’s number itself — not the AI. If in doubt, ask its provider.

All integrations

According to ElevenLabs, it processes calls in the United States by default, and in the EU only on the Enterprise plan. As of 12/10/2026.

ElevenLabs is a trademark of its owner. Zirko is an independent offering and is not offered, sponsored or endorsed by ElevenLabs.

What protects you and your callers

Whoever calls is a stranger. That is why the door is narrow.

  • Four things, nothing else

Behind the key there are only the four tools. Even if a caller tries to talk the phone service into something, there is nothing it could read or change.

  • Your service fills in the number, not the AI

Who it recognises is decided by the number your phone service fills in itself — not by the AI the caller is talking to. If you set up the field the way Zirko shows it, nobody can coax out another customer’s name.

  • The emergency route only in Zirko

Only you change the emergency number, the emergency instructions and the recipients of the emergency email, in Zirko, never an assistant. An assistant cannot write a phone number into your other rules, and Zirko’s instructions tell your phone service to give callers no number other than your emergency number and the public emergency number.

  • One key per service, revocable on its own

Zirko does not store it in readable form and shows you when a revoked key was still used. An AI assistant can never see, create or revoke it.

  • At most 30 inquiries an hour

Zirko accepts no more per key, at most 200 a day, and at most 10 emergency emails an hour. A stolen key cannot fill up your inquiries without limit.

  • The AI notice is your duty

Your caller must be told that an AI is speaking and what is stored from the call; for an audio recording you usually need their consent. According to ElevenLabs, it also stores the audio by default — if you do not need it, you switch this off in the agent. Zirko gives you a suggested greeting with the AI notice; you enter it in your phone service.

What else it takes off your hands

Call back in the evening instead of hunting for notes

Under Customers, “Inquiries” is waiting: who called, whether they are a customer, what they need, when to call back, emergencies first. From there you create a customer or project, or set the status: called back, done, no order.

In detail — Call back in the evening instead of hunting for notes

You also see in the Zirko App what is open.

“Inquiries” under Customers: an emergency at the top, marked as an emergency, below it an inquiry with a callback request, each with caller, concern and callback.

Your rules, not the service’s

Your opening hours, company holidays, what counts as an emergency and the work you do are in Zirko. Your phone service looks them up during the call; the instructions Zirko gives you for it tell it to stick to them.

In detail — Your rules, not the service’s

You can change them in Zirko or through your AI assistant — the emergency number and the emergency instructions only in Zirko.

Without your own phone service nobody answers — and Zirko uses no AI

Zirko takes no calls itself and does not call any language model. You sign up for the phone service and pay for it yourself; its prices and where it processes the calls are governed by your contract with it. And Zirko is not a condition for the call: the instructions Zirko gives you for your phone service tell it to carry on without Zirko if Zirko ever does not respond.

Frequently asked questions

  • Does Zirko use AI to answer calls?

No. Zirko takes no calls, listens to no conversations and does not call any language model. You sign up for the AI phone service yourself, such as ElevenLabs. Through a key, Zirko gives it exactly four tools: recognise the caller, create an inquiry, report an emergency, get the rules.

  • What does it cost?

Nothing extra in Zirko: the connection is included in every package. You pay for the phone service with its provider, at their prices. With ElevenLabs, the phone number comes on top, from Twilio or your phone provider.

  • Which phone services work?

Any service that can check with Zirko during the call using a fixed key and fills in the caller’s number itself. ElevenLabs is described field by field. According to ElevenLabs, it does not sell phone numbers: you get one from Twilio, a provider of phone numbers over the internet, or connect your phone system over a SIP trunk, an internet line for phone systems. As of 12/10/2026.

  • What happens in an emergency?

You set in Zirko what counts as an emergency for you. If your phone service reports one, Zirko immediately sends an email with the callback number and the concern to the people you have entered, at most 10 an hour. If you set it up in your service, it also puts the call through to your emergency number. There is no notification on your phone. The instructions Zirko gives you for your phone service tell it to refer callers to the emergency services number first if people are in danger; whether it does, you check when testing.

  • What does the caller learn from Zirko?

Only whether their number belongs to a customer, and the name for the greeting. Zirko does not give the phone service addresses, documents, prices or assignments. Who it recognises is decided by the number the platform fills in, not by the language model.

  • Where are the calls processed?

At your phone service’s provider, under your contract with them. According to ElevenLabs, it processes calls in the United States by default, and in the EU only on the Enterprise plan. Zirko receives no recordings and no transcripts, only the inquiry. Zirko deletes closed inquiries 90 days after they are closed, and open ones 180 days after they came in.

  • Do I have to tell callers that an AI is speaking?

Yes, that is your duty as a business: in the EU the AI Act requires it, and ElevenLabs requires it in its terms. Zirko gives you a suggested greeting that says an AI is speaking and the call is being recorded; you enter it in your phone service as the first message. If your service also records the audio — according to ElevenLabs, it does so by default — switch this off, or get the caller’s consent for the audio recording.
