For Claude, ChatGPT and others

Tell your assistant what needs to go out. One yes, and it’s done.

Connect your own AI assistant to Zirko, such as Claude or ChatGPT — over MCP, the common language such assistants use to work with other programs. It looks things up and creates drafts; it issues, sends, sends reminders or cancels only after you say yes.

Zirko itself uses no AI. You choose your assistant and pay for it with its provider.

According to Anthropic, this works with Claude on every plan, including the free one; according to OpenAI, with ChatGPT currently in Business, Enterprise and Edu, in the browser. As of 11/10/2026.

Your assistant, connected to Zirko
  1. You

Send out the invoice for the plumbing job.

  2. Your assistant

Here are the details from Zirko:

    Invoice — plumbing upgrade

    Number
    INV-00105
    Recipient
    Rathmines Lower Properties Ltd
    Amount payable
    EUR 2,471.88

    Shall I send it?

  3. You

    Yes.

  4. Your assistant

    It’s sent.

    Sending
    Sent

How it looks

One sentence instead of an hour at the desk

The invoice needs to go out, and you are still on site: you tell your assistant “Send Smith the invoice”. It shows you the document, number, amount and recipient from Zirko, you say yes, and Zirko sends it.

In detail — One sentence instead of an hour at the desk

With the same checks as at the desk and an entry in the log — then you are done for the day.

What it does for you — and what it never does

It has exactly your permissions and those of your package: whatever you may not see or do in Zirko, it does not see or do either.

  • Look up

    • Which invoices are open, and how much is that in total?
    • What was the revenue last month?

Which invoices are open, overdue or have had a reminder, added up in your currency — as under “Money outstanding”. Revenue, invoiced and received, as under “Revenue this month”: revenue, not profit. Plus customers, projects, items, documents, hours and job costing.

  • Create and change

    • Create a quote for Smith.
    • Book two hours on the plumbing job for me today.

Drafts of quotes, invoices and every other document, with line items and prices from your master data; while it is still a draft, it changes, removes and reorders line items. Plus customers, projects, hours, absences such as leave, items, assignments, reports and project messages — and settings such as payment terms or opening and closing texts, as far as your role may change them. If you only give a duration for a time entry, it asks back: from when to when. Zirko stores the start and the end.

  • After your yes

    • Tell me first what’s on the invoice.
    • Send Smith the invoice.

It issues, sends, sends reminders and cancels only after your yes — and the same goes for inviting or deactivating an employee, changing their role and changing details that appear on your documents, such as your bank details. The same checks apply as in Zirko. It reads net, tax and gross from Zirko: Zirko worked them out, not the assistant.

  • Never

Record payments; delete anything — no customers, projects, documents, hours or assignments, not even a whole draft, only single line items in it; manage the subscription; allow or switch off AI assistants; see or store login details, such as those of your mailbox or the key of your phone service; open files — photos, document files, attachments.

How to connect it

Three steps, once. After that it works until you disconnect it.

  1. An admin allows it

It is off by default. An Office – Admin turns on the “Allow AI assistants” switch in the settings under “AI assistants”.

  2. You add Zirko

In your assistant, you add Zirko as a new connection. The app asks for the address of the MCP server — this is it:

    https://app.zirko.io/api/mcp

  3. You give your consent

You sign in to Zirko, see what it may do and what it never does, and tap “Connect”. From then on it works with your permissions.

The “AI assistants” setting: the “Allow AI assistants” switch is on, below it what an assistant may do and what never, and the address for your assistant to copy.
Zirko’s consent page when Claude wants to connect: who is asking and from where, who is signed in, for which business and with which permissions, below that what an assistant may do and what never.

This works with any assistant in which you can add your own connection over MCP, with sign-in — according to their makers, for example with Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and Vibe (Mistral AI).

According to Anthropic, this works with Claude on every plan, including the free one; according to OpenAI, with ChatGPT currently in Business, Enterprise and Edu, in the browser. As of 11/10/2026.

Claude is a trademark of Anthropic, ChatGPT a trademark of OpenAI; the other names mentioned are trademarks of their owners. Zirko is an independent offering and is not offered, sponsored or endorsed by any of these providers.

What protects you

Enforced in the database, not just in the interface.

  • Your permissions, no more

It works with exactly the permissions of the person who connects it. Through their assistant, a field worker sees only what they see in the Zirko App.

  • Anything final only after your yes

Before it issues, sends, sends a reminder or cancels, Zirko gives it the document, customer, amount and recipient. Nothing is carried out until it passes on your yes to exactly these details; if anything has changed, Zirko turns it down. If your app can show a confirmation window, Zirko asks you there itself.

  • At most 20 an hour

Zirko does not accept more final actions through an assistant per person and hour — a brake in case a hidden instruction, for example in an email, gets your assistant to confirm by itself.

  • Every change in the log

Everything an assistant creates, changes or makes final is listed in the settings for 90 days, with person, assistant and time. Your overview also shows you what it has done.

  • Disconnecting takes effect at once

With “Disconnect” in Zirko, it is out: Zirko turns down every further request. Whatever it created stays.

  • The switch is with the admin

If an Office – Admin switches AI assistants off for the business, no assistant in the business gets through from then on — also at once.

What else it takes off your hands

Book hours, create a quote

Each person in the business connects their own assistant, with the permissions they have in Zirko. A field worker says “Book two hours on the plumbing job for me today”, the office “Create a quote for Smith”.

In detail — Book hours, create a quote

Zirko stores every time entry with a start and an end; if you only give a duration, your assistant asks back: from when to when. Line items and prices come from your own master data, and you check the draft before it goes out. Anything that is not final needs no separate confirmation.

“AI assistants” in the Zirko App: a connected assistant and the button that disconnects it.

Zirko works out the figures, not the assistant

If you ask about open invoices or last month’s revenue, your assistant reads the figures Zirko has worked out — as on your overview. Net, tax and gross on an invoice also arrive from Zirko already calculated.

In detail — Zirko works out the figures, not the assistant

Revenue is not profit, though: what is left over on a job is shown by job costing, from the Team package up. How far it can see is decided by your permissions.

No signal, no assistant — and no AI from Zirko

Your assistant works over the internet; in a dead spot it does not answer, and your hours in the Zirko App then wait on the device as always. Zirko itself uses no AI: you choose and pay for the assistant with its provider, and whatever it reads from Zirko is processed by that provider under your contract with them.

Tax, trades and guides — Ireland

This page exists in its own version for every country. Tax rates and trade names come from the same tables the app works with.

Tax on the invoice

An invoice here carries VAT, at a standard rate of 23%. Zirko ships with the country's rates — you don't enter any yourself.

Zirko also carries: 13.5% · 9% · 4.8%.

Worked example
Net
€10,000.00
VAT 23%
€2,300.00
Gross
€12,300.00

In Ireland, ordinary businesses will have to issue electronic invoices from 01/11/2028.

Frequently asked questions

  • Does Zirko use AI?

No. Zirko itself calls no language model. You connect your own assistant, such as Claude or ChatGPT, and whatever it reads from Zirko is processed by its provider under your contract with them. Without that connection, nothing goes to a model.

  • What does the connection cost?

Nothing extra in Zirko: it is included in every package. You pay for the assistant itself with its provider, at their prices.

  • Which assistants work?

Any assistant in which you can add your own connection over MCP, with sign-in — according to their makers, for example Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and Vibe (Mistral AI). According to Anthropic, Claude allows this on every plan, on the free one with one connection of your own; in Team and Enterprise the owner of your company account sets it up. According to OpenAI, ChatGPT currently allows connections of your own that can also create things in Business, Enterprise and Edu, in the browser. As of 11/10/2026.

  • Can it issue or send an invoice without my yes?

Not without a yes that reaches Zirko. Before it issues, sends, sends a reminder or cancels, Zirko gives it the exact details; the action is only carried out with a second call for exactly these details, with the same checks as in Zirko. If your app can show its own confirmation window, Zirko asks you there itself. Otherwise your yes comes through your assistant, and a planted text, for example in an email, could get a model to confirm by itself. That is why Zirko accepts at most 20 such actions per person and hour and records each one in the log.

  • Does a field worker see more through their assistant than in the app?

No. An assistant works with exactly the permissions of the person who connected it. What a field worker does not see in the Zirko App, such as prices and invoices, their assistant does not see either. The database enforces the limit.

  • What happens to my data at the assistant’s provider?

Whatever your assistant retrieves from Zirko goes to its provider. Where the provider processes the data and whether it trains models with it is governed by your contract with them. Zirko does not evaluate what an assistant queries, trains no model and sends nothing on its own. Files such as photos and attachments are out of an assistant’s reach altogether.

  • How do I disconnect it again?

In Zirko, with “Disconnect”: in the office under Settings → AI assistants, in the Zirko App under Profile. It takes effect at once, and whatever it created stays. If an admin switches assistants off for the business, that applies to everyone, also at once.

  • Does the assistant work out the amounts itself?

No. Zirko works out net, tax and gross, the total of open invoices and revenue, just as on your overview and on the invoice. Your assistant reads these figures from Zirko and passes them on to you. Revenue is not profit, though — what is left over on a job is shown by job costing.
